About Emiliano Vittoriosi

Emiliano Vittoriosi is an emerging photographer born in 1990 in a small town near Naples, Italy. From a young age, he studied artistic techniques and has been self-taught in photography, experimenting and working in various fields. In 2011, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples for New Art Technologies, and in 2015/16 he attended the Master Shooting From Inside with Lina Pallotta to acquire experience and techniques in editing.

His work is based on research and the reuse of images to analyze multiple solutions and facets of personal life and beyond. In 2016, Emiliano moved to Berlin, where he acquired an avalanche of experiences from linguistic ones to those related to the use of iconography. In 2018, he attended the University of Parma for Contemporary Communication and Media for the creative industries, but left his studies after the death of his mother in July 2019. In 2020, he returned to live in Berlin, where he currently resides and works on various photographic books.

Emiliano is a polyhedric artist who specializes in the creation of editorial and advertising content, from photo books and novels to magazines and art books, content creation for advertising campaigns, content for social networks, corporate identity creation, and websites and e-commerce. He founded Berlin Explorer in 2020, which reworks mainly old projects such as Kaktuszine, Berlinecore (a Street Photography project), and Spotlight (a project based on music) to create collective publications and projects.

In 2021, Emiliano created the project HUMANS, and he is the founder of the Beex project, where he interviewed over 200 photographers, managed more than 700 members in events and community meetings, and edited more than 50 photobooks. Emiliano has a deep understanding of the path in photography and is specialized in authorial photography, storytelling, reportage, and researched projects.
